The Coming Storm (part two)

The Coming Storm(Part Two)
After watching a movie dinner was ready. All the kids ran downstairs craving pudding already. Everyone sat down at the table and ate. The rain pounded louder and louder on the roof.

After dinner, they all went upstairs to watch more films, but as they were walking up the stairs the house started to shake. Aliza yelled ¨EARTHQUAKE!!¨. Everyone scrambled to the nearest table but unfortunately, not everyone could fit. Ellie was last to get under the table and just after she did her grandmother's huge chandelier light fell right after she got under.

But everyone was so squished that Ellie's cousin wasn't quite under the table with one of his legs out to the side. He screamed in pain as the chandelier came crashing onto his leg. They all jumped in fright, but luckily one of the chairs was there to hold the chandelier up a little so that there wasn't much damage.

Ellies Auntie grabbed her cousin's arm and tried to pull his leg out of the giant light, the others tried to loosen it up. To their surprise, the chandelier was quite light, and they managed to free his leg. The damage wasn't too bad but it was a struggle to stop his leg from bleeding. Aliza grabbed some of the table cloth and ripped it off to use as a bandage.

The Earthquake was long and tiring. Most of the kids had fallen asleep. The adults tried their best to keep them awake, just in case anything else happened. But it was no use, all of them were in pain from staying under the table and Ellie's poor cousin was trying his best to stay strong for them.

Finally to their delight the shaking stopped. Everything was still but the rain was still as loud as ever. But everything was over. At Least that's what they thought...

(part three coming)
