The Causes And Consequences Of Water Pollution

Water pollution among the many other problems on Earth is a big one, as well as plastic and wildfires. Water pollution can happen anywhere on Earth, at any time, and can be caused by lots of things. That affects the water in many different ways.

Water pollution can be caused by many different things. For example, plastic waste is one of the main causes of pollution. Other types of human-made waste like oil tankers and other things can also pollute the water. You may have seen it on TV that some oil tankers spill into the ocean, causing pollution to the water and suffocating marine life.

Even though water pollution seems like a huge problem, there are lots of ways you can help to stop it. By throwing your plastic and other waste in the bin, you can stop the ocean from getting polluted by plastic. Another way you can stop water pollution is to help by not pouring any oil or cooking things down the sink. Because the oil could suffocate marine life since most sinks lead to the ocean.

The consequences of water pollution can kill lots of things including coral beds and big sea mammals, like whales. It also kills marine life and blocks waterways. When oil tankers leak, that's considered to be one of the most common ways to cause water pollution. After an oil leak the water is very unhealthy because of the pollution which makes it unable to drink because it would be unhealthy and probably poisonous.

In conclusion water pollution is a huge problem. If it gets any worse, all the water on Earth will be so bad that you won't be able to drink it. So in the long term, everyone will die.
