Investigation On Wildfires
Wildfires are an environmental problem causing so many forests and places in the world to be burnt down. Wildfires are a huge problem because they release carbon dioxide (Co2) into the atmosphere. But are also caused by so many other environmental problems.
Wildfires can occur anywhere. But they are most common in the forested area around the U.S and Canada. There are many different ways that wildfires can be caused. Like for example, unattended fires are a threat to the surrounding areas because it could spread easily. Making it even more harmful because it's unattended and could spread without anyone knowing.
It may not seem to be a big deal but when you throw a used cigarette out of a car window or anywhere, it may cause harm to the environment. For example if it's just only been used, and it is still hot. It could easily catch fire on things surrounding it. The same for campfires or firepits, after you've used them make sure you put them out. So that they don't cause harm to the environment around them. Also, this could affect your safety, if you don't have caution around the fire.
Over the years wildfire rates have gone up so much because of climate change. It affects wildfires so much because of the heat and change in the world. Climate change is one of the biggest reasons why wildfires are so much more common. The increase in temperature and drying of the planet makes it so much easier for a fire to start. Especially in Australia because most of it is dry grass and dead trees.
A way to reduce so many wildfires from happening is to take caution around what you're doing. When it could lead to environmental damage. You should also remember to put anything like cigarettes or highly flammable things into the rubbish/recycling. Not on the grass or on the side of a footpath.
In conclusion, wildfire rates have increased so much. But there are many ways that you could help to reduce so many wildfires from happening. Remember to take caution with what you do around fires and flammable things. So that you don't cause the environment any harm.
